Grass Fed Beef

Here at Graham Farms I raise grass fed, hormone, and antibiotic free beef. The cattle are moved to fresh grass everyday with the pasture areas given plenty of rest time before they are grazed again. This practice builds soils rich in organic matter. The pastures at Graham Farms have not been sprayed with any toxins for 30 years.

Grass fed is the way God intended bovines to eat which produces meat high in the correct balance of omega fats, a leaner beef, and fewer chances of E-coli contamination. The taste and texture far out weigh factory farmed beef.

Bovines are a member of a group of animals called ruminants, designed to eat grass only. Ruminants have four compartments to their stomachs and are very effective at turning grass into muscle, when given the proper grass and no grains. Feeding a ruminant grains will negate three of the four stomach chambers and alter that animal's chemistry which results in acidosis in the cow. Acidosis causes a stomach ache for the cow's entire life. Eating a grain fed (altered) cow affects a human's chemistry and cholesterol.

Eating Omega Meats beef provides benefits to you the consumer, the animal and the environment.
